All about Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro phones

The Chinese company Honor, a subsidiary of Huawei, has announced two new smartphones: the Honor 9X and the Honor 9X Pro. The two devices are currently launching in China, but the company is expected to start them soon also internationally. However, given Huawei's situation with the White House, it is not known if they will be available in the United States.

These mid-range devices are distinguished by a screen without a bezel and a pop-up camera, in addition to the first appearance of Huawei's new Kirin 810 processor. It is what you need to know about the Honor 9X and the Honor 9X Pro.

Like Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro, the new Honor 9X and 9X Pro models share many similarities with each other.

The new X on the back panel, which we hope will use the same technique as the Honor View 20, which gives it a deep and highly reflective finish.

Both the 9X and the 9X Pro use the Kirin 810 processor apart from that it is built using a 7 nm process. It is with 4GB or 6GB of RAM in the 9X, and 8GB of RAM in the 9X Pro. The 9X has a choice of 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, while the 9X Pro has 128GB or 256GB. Both present expansion opportunities using a MicroSD card.

Both phones have 4,000 mAh batteries and work with Android 9.0. We hope that the Huawei EMUI Honor version, called Magic UI, is above.

Pop-up selfie camera. On the front is a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen, but instead of opting for the hole-punch design for the front camera, the 9X series has a surround screen without a hole, notch or considerable bevels. Therefore, the 16-megapixel selfie camera is inside a pop-up module, as is the Xiaomi Mi 9T, a phone with which it will compete, and the OnePlus 7 Pro, which is more expensive.

Rear cameras

The differences between the two models come when examining the rear camera. The Honor 9X has a double, with a primary lens of 48 megapixels and a secondary lens of the depth of 2 megapixels, while the 9X Pro has a matrix of three lenses. The 48-megapixel camera is maintained, as is the 2-megapixel lens, but it also comes with another ultra-wide 8-megapixel lens.

Honor 9X is first going to sale on July 23 in China and prices starting at $200 locally. The Honor 9X Pro will arrive on July 30 and will cost around $320.

The eventual availability of these phones in the global market will depend on Huawei's relationship with Google, which is threatened by the high situation of the Chinese company with the United States. For its part, Honor has not made any announcement about an international launch.
