AUSvPAK Test Series: Pakistan could not win any Test Match in Australia for 24 years

Australia has won 12 consecutive Test matches against Pakistan at their home. Pakistan's eye will be to improve this embarrassing record.

The two-match Test series between Australia and Pakistan is to be played from 21 November. The first match of the series will be played at The Gaba Stadium in Brisbane. The Pakistan cricket team has not won a single Test match in Australia in the last 24 years. Far from winning, Pakistan have not been able to hold a single Test match against Australia in Australia since 1995. Australia has won 12 consecutive Test matches against Pakistan at their home. Pakistan's eye will be to improve this embarrassing record.

On 30 November 1995, Pakistan defeated Australia by 74 runs. Talking about Australian soil, a total of 35 Test matches have been played between the two teams, out of which Australia has won 24, while Pakistan has won 4 times. Seven matches have been drawn between the two teams. The road to Pakistan, however, could be made more difficult by Steve Smith's superb form. Pakistan have drawn a series in Australia, but have not won yet. New captain Azhar Ali, Babar Azam and in-form Asad Shafiq were in the visiting team in 2016-17, when Australia made a clean sweep 3–0.

Misbah has high expectations from the team

The current head coach at the time, Misbah-ul-Haq, said, "We are not under pressure from the previous record against Australia." He said, "This is a golden opportunity to win because what we have not yet achieved, we can do now." Pakistan's batting relies on Babar Azam and Shafiq, who scored a knockout 111 against Australia-A and a notout 101 against Cricket Australia XI. On the other hand, Australia drew the Ashes series 2–2 from England and defeated Pakistan 2–0 in the T20 series.

Bowler Should Focus On His Strategies Against Smith: Wasim Akram

The fast bowlers will look hot

Australia have bowlers like Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood on the fast bowling pitch, while James Pattinson will not be able to play due to suspension. Pakistan has a new fast bowler in the form of 16-year-old Nasim Shah, who will be accompanied by 19-year-old Shaheen Afridi and Musa Khan. Mohammad Abbas and Imran Khan Sr. have experience. These bowlers had dismissed Australia-A for 122 runs. Getting Smith and Warner out cheaply though won't be easy for them. Warner, who flopped in the Ashes, has returned to form. At the same time, Smith has scored 774 runs in seven innings in the Ashes and is maintaining that rhythm.
